This beautiful couple stumbled across my Instagram feed completely by chance while shopping for a San Diego wedding venue. You see, they had some unique questions as a couple from out of town who needed some guidance regarding things from venues to local vendors to scenic local spots for engagement photos.
As a North County San Diego native, I was able to provide them with suggestions about using a Liberty Station wedding venue (they decided to go with Stone Brewing Co.) I was also able to help coordinate Kelly's hair and makeup trial with one of my preferred vendors, Dannielle Robeson, so it happened the day of our engagement photo session. This gave Kelly a chance to both feel her best and get to know her vendor team a few months in advance of their big day.
La Jolla Photography Locations
For any photography session lasting longer than 20 minutes, I like to incorporate multiple scenes. It's no secret that downtown La Jolla provides a wide variety of both epic coastal landscapes as well as quaint historic buildings. We used the peachy pink tones of the nearly century old La Valencia Hotel as a backdrop before wandering down to Ellen Browning Scripps Park, eventually ending our session on the cliff overlook at sunset.
